We are LP.YTH

LP.YTH exists to provide an atmosphere for our 7-12th grade students to learn and grow in their faith. We gather on Wednesday Nights @ 400 Grant Street @ 6p. We eat pizza... lots of it, play games, & learn about the Gospel through a MDWK Message and Small Groups.

The central theme of the Gospel is love. God loves us so much he sent his son to die the death we deserve. We are no longer bound to sin, rather set free through the blood of Jesus Christ! By recognizing what Jesus did on the cross, we gravitate towards building a relationship with our Father in Heaven. Gathering is our sneak peak into Heaven. We learn together, grow together, and share the Good News with the world! Who are we? We are the Now Generation! Who are we? We are LP.YTH!

A sneak peek into MDWK

This week (10/2) Small Group Leaders will have the opportunity to gather with their students for the entirety of the service to discuss each of the messages presented during this series. The objective of the "Back to Basics" Series was to introduce students to a new way of understanding who Jesus is. We have always known Jesus as a man who died on a cross, but what if we considered the fact he was appointed from the beginning of time to reconcile us with the Father? Jesus didn't come from the Heavens on a whim to die for us because we made a mistake, he was the plan all along. God has always wanted a relationship with his children. The story of God, the Gospels, and the way we are called to live are of utmost importance for us to know and understand. How can we believe if we don't know what we believe? Let's recap & put the pieces together; From Genesis to the Birth of Jesus, the life of our Savior to his death, his resurrection to NT life!
